Only the car models that took part in at least one edition of the 1OOO Miglia from 1927 to 1957 can take part today in the modern re-enactment of the Race. Registration in the archives of the Registro is an indispensable tool to make sure that the car is registered with 1000 Miglia, certifying the eligibility of the model or the participation of the single car in at least one 1000 Miglia edition from 1927 to 1957, reserved for specific chassis or plate numbers.

In addition to guaranteeing the eligibility and historical authenticity of the car, certification by the Registro simplify the procedure of registration to the re-enactment of the 1000 Miglia: those who register will no longer need to enclose data, documents and photographs with their registration but can simply limit themselves to provide the certification number. From 2020, membership in the Registro is an indispensable condition for the registration of the car in the annual edition of the 1000 Miglia.

Cars with historic/sporting characteristics that make them eligible to take part in the re-enactment of the race in the Guest List category may be entered in the Registro 1000 Miglia even if they never took part in any of the editions of the 1000 Miglia speed edition that took place between 1927 and 1957.

When registering for the 1000 Miglia, the entry of the certificate number issued by the Registro will allow the connected car to be recognised and all the technical and administrative data related to it.
