Registro 1000 Miglia
WHAT IS IT
The Registro 1000 Miglia, with its Participant and Eligible archives, is the project promoted by 1000 Miglia S.r.l. and Automobile Club of Brescia, in collaboration with FIVA – Fédération Internationale des Véhicules Anciens – ACI Sport, ACI Storico and Museo Mille Miglia for the purpose of:
Cataloging, recording and certifying individual cars that took part in at least one of the twenty-four editions of the 1000 Miglia Speed race from 1927 to 1957, identified by the chassis or license plate number.
Regulating and certifying the car models that took part in at least one of the twenty-four editions of the 1000 Miglia Speed races from 1927 to 1957.
Only the car models that took part in at least one edition of the 1OOO Miglia from 1927 to 1957 can take part today in the modern re-enactment of the Race. Registration in the archives of the Registro will be an indispensable tool to make sure that the car is registered with 1000 Miglia, certifying the eligibility of the model or the participation of the single car in at least one 1000 Miglia edition from 1927 to 1957, reserved for specific chassis or plate numbers.
In addition to guaranteeing the eligibility and historical authenticity of the car, certification by the Registro will simplify the procedure of registration to the re-enactment of the 1000 Miglia: those who register will no longer need to enclose data, documents and photographs with their registration but can simply limit themselves to provide the certification number. From 2020, membership in the Registro will be an indispensable condition for the registration of the car in the annual edition of the 1000 Miglia.
